Our New Zealand Greenstone collection contains traditional genuine pounamu, carved in North & South Island, sourced from East Coast of New Zealand.

Gifting traditional Greenstone with the intention of why you chose it, what it represents for the recipient is said to be a meaningful spiritual gift.Gifting a traditional Greenstone is said to be an act of love, and respect (aroha and manaakitanga). The positive intention is said to carry good energy. It is said to be a nice gesture if you bless the Greenstone together, take the gift to a natural water running water source and say a personal thought to set your positive intention. 

Our Greenstone is not traditionally blessed however the carvers perform a quiet karakia (prayer or blessing) during the carving process which clears the stone's energy.
